F/W Update

Choose between Method 1 and Method 2 to update the firmware


Method 1 :  If you are using the DearBuds Pet v1.0.3 App  (Easier)

  1. Install nRF DFU(Device Firmware Update) MobileApp from Apple AppStore or Google PlayStore
  2. Download the latest firmware (zip file)
  3. Run DFU app, select the downloaded zip file
  4. Connect your DearBuds with the DearBuds Pet v1.0.3 app
  5. Run the firmware update from the app's settings menu.
  6. Select Device in DFU app to select the searched "DearBuds-DFU2" device
  7. Once the DearBuds screen is off and the Red LED is on the nozzle, tap Start on the DFU app


Method 2 :  If you update manually without the app

  1. Install nRF DFU(Device Firmware Update) MobileApp from Apple AppStore or Google PlayStore
  2. Download the latest firmware (zip file)
  3. Run DFU app, select the downloaded zip file
  4. Enter "Info" by pressing Sub button of DearBuds PE, and enter "I-2" by pressing Main button twice.
  5. While "I-2" is visible, press both buttons for 4 seconds to display DFU, then release both buttons.
  6. Select Device in DFU app to select the searched "DfuTarg" device
  7. Select Start Update ---> Done


Method 3 : Update directly with the DearBuds app (Coming early next year)



DearBuds SE is also getting a F/W update soon. Please be patient!



방법 1 : 디어버즈 펫 v1.0.3 앱을 사용하는 경우 (쉬운 방법)


  1. 애플 앱스토어 또는 구글 플레이스토어에서 nRF DFU 모바일앱을 설치합니다.
  2. 최신 펌웨어(zip 파일)를 다운로드합니다.
  3. DFU 앱을 실행하고 다운로드한 zip 파일을 선택합니다.
  4. 디어버즈와 DearBuds Pet  v1.0.3 앱을 연결합니다.
  5. 앱의 설정 메뉴에서 펌웨어 업데이트를 실행합니다.
  6. DFU 앱에서 디바이스를 선택하여 검색된 "DearBuds-DFU2 " 디바이스를 선택합니다.
  7. 디어버즈 화면이 꺼지고 노즐에 빨간색 LED가 켜지면 DFU 앱에서 시작을 탭합니다.


방법 2 : 앱 없이 수동으로 업데이트하는 경우


  1. 애플 앱스토어 또는 구글 플레이스토어에서 nRF DFU(Device Firmware Update) 모바일앱을 설치합니다.
  2. 최신 펌웨어(zip 파일)를 다운로드합니다.
  3. DFU 앱을 실행하고 다운로드한 zip 파일을 선택합니다.
  4. 디어버드 PE의 서브 버튼을 눌러 "정보"로 진입한 후 메인 버튼을 두 번 눌러 "I-2"로 진입합니다.
  5. "I-2"가 표시되는 동안 양쪽 버튼을 4초간 눌러 DFU를 표시한 후 양쪽 버튼을 모두 놓습니다.
  6. DFU 앱에서 장치를 선택하여 검색된 "DfuTarg" 장치를 선택합니다.
  7. 업데이트 시작 ---> 완료를 선택합니다.


방법 3 : 디어버즈 앱으로 직접 업데이트(내년 초 출시 예정)
